Sweden does cool shit. Air France is one my favourite bands of the last couple of years, and along with similar bands like JJ, Beirut, Boat Club, Studio and The Embassy they form a little sub-genre of Swedish indie-pop-soughta-sounding fun.
The Radio Dept.'s new LP 'Clinging to a Scheme' sits somewhere between the sounds of Air France and Tough Alliance - its chilled and a little bit different, definitely worth a listen. Heaven of Fire is one of the best tracks on the album. check it out!
The Radio Dept. - Heaven's on Fire
The Radio Dept. - The Video Dept.
Would love to see some of the bands listed make there way over here.
Peace.
