Boston's 'Bad Rabbits' is a weird and wonderful mix of soul, jazz, hip hop and early 90s dance which absolutely explodes with goodness. Labelled as New Jack Swing, this innovative genre has got me hooked, and lead singer Dua Boakye could possibly be the only one who can pull it off, his voice is unreal (think Prince meets Bad Brains).
The seven track EP Stick It Up was released in Dec 09, and I'm a little confused how its taken me this long to find these guys, because essentially, they f*cking rock, and there's not a huge amount of talk about them floating the net/blogs.
Throw in a karmaloop.com clothing line and the support of some already very established bands and you have 'Bad Rabbits', the next big thing from Boston.
