Following up their previous collaboration on the track Road to Zion from Damian Marley’s 'Welcome to Jamrock' album, Nas and Jr. Gong (Marley) have just released their collaborative album 'Distant Relatives', inspired by Nas and Damian’s shared African ancestry. Theres something cool about mixing hip-hop with reggae, "We're trying to have a sound that's reminiscent of both of us, but not exactly like either," said Nas about the album. They recorded the album with live bands, children choirs, and a range of other artists such as Joss Stone, Lil Wayne, K'naan and Stephen Marley. Below are two tracks off the album (released tomorrow). Already getting a flogging on my itunes, enjoy these gems!
